I work with writers, directors, and creative teams to understand what a character actually wants — not what the plot requires of them, but what the unconscious is driving them toward. The result is characters whose inner lives feel irreducible: surprising, inevitable, and real. Ultimately, each story is both unique and archetypal.
Consulting on a character is different from therapy with the writer. The work is analytical — I read the material, and we think together about what is happening beneath the surface of the story.

Share your script, manuscript pages, series bible, or brief. I read it before we meet, with attention to what the unconscious logic of the story is already doing.

We meet over video to go through my initial reading — the complexes I see operating, the shadow dynamics, what the psyche of the central character seems to want. You push back; I adjust.

Depending on the engagement, we meet one or two more times as you revise. I can also provide written notes on specific scenes or character decisions as they develop.
